Could your business help young people?

100 ways in 100 days is a community campaign inspired by the Central Ranges LLEN. We want to find 100 ways to help young people move from school to further education, training and employment.

We are doing a lot of our promotion and announcements via social media, if you have social media accounts, please like, follow and share us!

Website:   Facebook:  @100waysin100days  Twitter: @100waysin100

Visit our website and go to the "offers to help" to see the pledges made by the community. You can also view local needs that have been identified via the "requests for help" menu. We are encouraging all local businesses in the area to join our campaign and make a pledge to help young people.

There are many ways that businesses can help and they are encouraged to take on a student for a placement for one day a week, offering a school-based or full-time traineeship or apprenticeship, becoming a mentor or supporting a local program and offering to take a student for structured workplace learning. The skills learnt in the vocational education and training (VET) program can be transferred into an industrial workplace.
