Hilary House says a fond farewell to its year 12s

3 November 2016

We have said farewell to our year 12 students and wished them all the best. They were a very good group of students who developed considerably during their time  at Assumption. This growth was mentioned by their pastoral care teachers in the individual farewells they received. On behalf of everyone in the house, I again thank these graduates for all they have given the ACK  community and wish them every success for their future endeavours.

As we look forward to 2017, it's timely to remind you that we are changing our pastoral care structure from next year. We are moving to a fully vertical system, with students from years 7-12 in each pastoral care group (PCG). We hope to make communication easier for all involved by placing siblings into the same pastoral care group. If you have a  strong objection to all your children being in the same PCG please contact me as soon as possible.

And we celebrated the successes of some of our students from the winter sports season during a recent house assembly. Congratulations to these students (pictured below) and all those who, without fail,  represent the college to the best of their ability every weekend.
