Supermoon over Shandon

7 March 2019

The Photography team were treated to a stunning experience when they took part in an evening excursion at the College to photograph the Supermoon on Tuesday, 19 February.

Arranged by Photography team leader Nicki Doyle, the students were able to gain valuable experience adapting to night photography conditions, while obtaining some brilliant images of the moon from various points around the school grounds, especially as it rose over the Fourviere Building.

Ms Doyle and current school captain and long-time member of the Photography team, Ben Gregory, were on hand to provide advice to younger team members and many parents stayed and enjoyed the experience alongside the young photographers.
