Interschool equestrian continues to grow and strengthen each year. The equestrian calendar began on February 15 and will not end until late October. The term break gave many of us time to rest and prepare for another busy term riding for ACK.
Braemar College hosted the third qualifying round for the Victorian Equestrian Interschool Series in dressage on Sunday March 22 at Lancefield Equestrian Reserve. The Assumption College equestrian team came third. Braemar took out the shield. Geelong Grammar was equal second with Assumption College. On count back, Assumption College was awarded third place.
All the equestrian team members, human and equine, represented the College with pride and determination. Congratulations to all those who participated. The best performances are listed below:

Jackson Clifford on Armond Park Belle - fifth.
Emily Newnham on Wyann Red Baron - sixth.
Sophie Clifford on Duke – ninth.

Isabella Robertson-Dixon on Avella Frantellino – first.
Abbey Green on Imperial Georgiana – eighth.
Abby Schmitt on Helden Park Stylish – 10th.

Laura Newnham on Tapu Chippendale – sixth.
Cassidy Neubauer on Running Waters Lleu – seventh.

Brooke Pearse on Revelwood Aston – first.
Ivanhoe Grammar hosted round 2 of the Northern Interschool Series in dressage on Sunday, March 15 at the Yarrambat Pony Club Grounds. Braemar College took out the shield. Ivanhoe Grammar was second and Assumption College third. Congratulations to the following:

Hillcrest Christian College hosted round 1 of the Interschool Dressage series on Saturday, March 14 at the Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre in Clyde North. Haylea Wright was the lone representative for Assumption College. She rode Double Life in the Preliminary section and was eighth.
