Girls Sportbells

Nine ACK girls took part in a Cricket Victoria girls cricket clinic at Carey Grammar late last month. The girls were shown some basic skills before taking on other APS/AGSV schools in a T20 competition.

Meg Lanning, captain of the Australian women’s cricket team met the girls and talked to them about where the sport has taken her. The girls had a fantastic time and hope to compete again next year. Click on the photos below to see the girls in action.

Saturday, November 21 was the last round for girls sport this year, congratulations to all teams for their great effort in the start of this season. Congratulations to Ashlee Bedrac for winning our tennis player of the day for this round!

Summer sport resumes on February 6, so  training will begin the first week back in term 1. Please check the college website as fixtures will soon be posted for first term.

Have a great break!
