As a college, we seek to grow our young people to be reflective individuals who embody the Marist characteristics by being present, by living a family spirit, who value simplicity and love their work and who do all this in the way of Mary. Ultimately, we encourage our students to share their story and their gifts with others so that Assumption College is always a place of welcome.

As College captains for 2024, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our Assumption College community. Amongst its long and storied history, we are honoured to have had the opportunity to not only learn, but actively participate in the life of our school.
As our time at Assumption nears its end, we take pride in not just the material we've learnt, but the values that have been instilled in us, and the opportunities we’ve been given.
Through inspiring work within our mission department, we have learnt to use our voices, to stand in solidarity with one another, and to look beyond the needs within our own lives. Through a variety of sporting and cultural groups, we have learnt the importance of spirit and inclusivity. Through an extensive range of learning pathways, we have been given the chance to become independent and passionate individuals, who are supported as we prepare to enter the workforce. Most importantly, we have learnt through many mistakes and obstacles, the importance of resilience; as at Assumption your outcomes do not define you, but rather your efforts.
From the beginning of our journey in year 7, our motto ‘Quae Supra Quaere’; to "Seek the things that are above”, has called us to challenge ourselves and our peers to our fullest potential. Our accomplishments during our time at Assumption are therefore not measured in grades, but through our efforts in an abundance of fulfilled opportunities, and life-changing experiences.
