New Projects

STEM and Allied Health (Commencing 2025)

A new Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and Allied Health Building is a project of significant importance to Assumption College. This project will provide contemporary and fit for purpose learning facilities for all STEM and Health subjects, which are both growing areas of national significant educational importance.

This new facility will be located on the prominent Sutherland Street frontage of the College, thereby showcasing a new era in school architecture and environmentally responsible construction to the community at large.

This proposed STEM and Allied Health Building will assist in meeting the increased student demand and provide the resources to deliver a contemporary learning environment for our students. Some of these are listed below:

  • 2 specialist STEM Labs for Engineering, and Robotics
  • 7 Labs which be used for chemistry, biology, physics and general science
  • 1 Allied Health training room (a three bed ward)
  • 2 General classrooms
  • 1 3D printing room
  • 2 Preparation rooms
  • 2 outdoor learning terraces
  • Staff offices
  • Amenities
  • Storage
  • Extensive breakout spaces
