Boarding students thrive in their comfortable “family style” centres.
Our three boutique boarding houses boast an array of fantastic facilities built to provide a community atmosphere and support a bespoke boarding experience.
Mannes House is for our Years 7-12 girls and O’Connor and Redden Houses are for our Years 7-12 boys.
Each house is home to 24 boarders and corresponding boarding staff. Every boarder gets their own room, a private place for study and respite as well as communal kitchens where students can prepare meals together, every aspect of our boarding community is tailored to encourage communication and growth with boarding peers.
Additionally, our boarders have access to a High-Performance Fitness Centre and an outdoor space, common to all three houses, features a traditional brick pizza oven for boarding barbecues and fun gatherings.
Assumption College boarding staff live onsite with the students and provide a “family spirit” so both students and their parents feel welcomed and valued.
Our Boarding families can choose the seven-day full-time boarding option or return home at weekends with the five-day academic boarding program.
They can take advantage of additional academic support, tutoring and study support. Healthy and nutritious meals are prepared on-site by a chef.
