On 29 February at the home of Alan and Kate Tripp in Yarrawonga, the HSC class of 1970 celebrated their 50 year reunion. This milestone event was organised by Larry Coates, John Dow, Bruce Pellow, Allan Tripp and Vince Murphy.
The 94 guests, including 31 partners, enjoyed the beautiful weather poolside as they recalled days past – and caught up with friends whom some had not seen since leaving the school gates. Many friendships were rekindled.
There were many friends from the surrounding years of 1970 in attendance. Although all the boys were not in the same peer year, the relationships were always strong and the comradery still exists today.
The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and everyone was very grateful to the Tripp’s for sharing their home for the event.
